Spending the day in Novi Michigan? You’re in luck. Novi is filled with awesome shopping, beautiful downtown areas, beautiful parks and top notch attractions. I personally live in Novi and my real estate office is located in Novi. I spend a lot of time in the city and I enjoy what Novi has to offer.
First stop is LakeShore Park: One of the largest parks in Novi, Lakeshore Park offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities and plays host to many community events. Active recreation opportunities include a swimming beach (on Walled Lake, the largest lake in the City) in the summer months, well maintained mountain bike and walking trails, and two play structures. The park is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Three picnic shelters are available for community use at the park. Pavilion Shore Park is only a short walk (0.2 miles) from the Lakeshore Park entrance and provides additional amenities to enjoy, such as lake front seating, pathways, fishing and open space.
Second Stop is Sunshine Market Novi: This is one of my favorite gas stations in Novi. It is beautiful inside and they have every single liquor bottle you can think of and if they don’t have it they will order it for you.
Third stop is Pavilion Shore Park: One of my favorite things to do here is to put up Hammock between two trees and read a book. This is a 11 acre park in Novi. The park sits on the southern shore of Walled Lake and consists of walking paths, a fishing pier, picnic plaza, parking and waterfront seating. Just a short walk (.2 miles) to the west is Lakeshore Park with additional amenities: sand volleyball, swim beach, Horseshoe pits, BBQs, picnic shelters, play structures and over 10 miles of mountain biking and multi-purpose trails.
Fourth stop is Dairy Queen East (Treat and Cakes): What is a day off without ICE CREAM… YUMMM
Fifth stop: is Better Health Market & Café NOVI: Michigan has everything to fit your healthy lifestyle. The cafe has a variety of organic drinks, homemade soups, vegetarian sandwiches, and more. Shop online or at The Better Health Store of Novi for your vitamin, supplement, and dietary needs
